Office shifted from 11 Stamford Road, Capitol Building to a shophouse at 9 Purvis Street.
Total area of the whole office is about the same, but somehow it feels smaller (guess it's because of the layout plan). Seating arrangement is 3 by 3 and my current neighbour is Helen! which is good~ coz we share a lot of info, not only ID but also some irrelevant topics. Let me mention some - CLUB 21 SALE, FACIAL TREATMENT and some other girl's fashion thingy! LOL~
Soooooo, i was so sick of CITY HALL area when our office was located there. and now i get a little bit sick of BUGIS, used to be one of my fav hang out spots! OU-AM-GE! getting sick of bugis junction, bugis village, don't mention bras basah... so the only place which somehow is still new to me is ILUMA/FILMGARDE (not sure of the name though).
Honestly speaking, till now i still cannot figure out the intention of doing the umbrella-alike design at the front facade of the building. I quite like the whole contrast of rigid and fluid concept (love the timber deck and the ceiling features at the entrance), i find that the selection of materials are carefully thought of, the custom-made column metal cladding is something new and like the seating benches idea. SAD to find only about 70% of the whole shopping malls is occupied. and SAD to find that most retails houses their house brands as i hardly find some branded stores.
I should say the F&B here is very different from what we normally have. One of them is this restaurant i went to, named "THE EMPIRE STATE" (somehow similar to "NEW YORK NEW YORK"). What i love is their slogan, it is really something that makes one feels not guilty at all of what they eat... haha! please refer to the picture!

I definitely don't look guilty at all!
AND!
i guess i got at least another kg after the meal!
which is not okay
BUT!
there is nothing i can do about it!
BECAUSE!
i simply can't resist good food!
